"The Magnificent American West" |
|
I painted sceneries that remained strong in my heart from my trip to America in February 2002. In order to attain the full magnificent view of the mesmerizing American West, I went ahead and painted in panoramic . Of course, there are animals in these paintings. These panoramas are done only by brushes, no air spray. Every stroke was painted from my soul. It took the majority of the year to complete these five voluminous works. Please enjoy! |

Bleak country by the Arches National Park in Utah. Endless red massive rocks hark back to the first primeval earth. Leaving the Arches National Park at dawn, the view of the rocks revealing their beauty by changing colors was magnificent as the sun arose. |

| "Breathing" |
| 104cm x 37cm |
|
I visited wild buffalos in Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake. Many buffalo herds are still living in this island covered by snow. In the past, they say, there were 600,000 buffalos in North America but the herd has dramatically decreased in its number by hunting. It was a great experience for me to encounter buffalos close enough that I almost could hear their breathing. |

This delicately formed arch is the most heavenly beautiful arch in the park. Walking on trackless roads for about an hour, this arch suddenly appeared in front of our eyes. All I could do was to be impressed by this art created by nature. |
